Chadwick Beach is a predominantly residential shore community that has year round residents, two beach areas, one on the ocean side and one on the bayside, a recreation area with three tennis courts, a basketball court, an adjacent play area for children and an island with marina services. It is located on Route 35 between Normandy Beach and Ocean Beach III. Chadwick boasts the local retail businesses: Captain Al's Bait and Tackle Shop, Lasola's Deli, Chadwick Island Marina, Chadwick Beach Miniature Golf, Chadwick Beach Reality, and the WaWa. CB is a family vacation spot. In recent years many of the original cottages have been remodeled or razed giving owners larger and more luxurious housing. Chadwick comes alive in the summer because of the influx of renters and families vacationing at the shore.
